About the Role

The Paralegal - Corporate is an integral part of Latham’s Legal Professional and Paralegal team. This role will be responsible for performing legal tasks and providing various administrative support to attorneys and other supervising paralegals, where relevant, while coordinating the work of support departments, attorney support team members, and junior paralegals to retrieve, assemble, and/or organise documents for review by supervisors. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing specified forms, letters, or other legal documents
  • Obtaining documents and certificates from relevant authorities
  • Conducting searches and creating reports in databases or other document repositories
  • Proofreading and preparing documents for submission to courts or authorities
  • Maintains the integrity of the case or transactional documents generated throughout the duration of a case or transaction

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Exhibit proficient knowledge of applications typically used in a legal office environment and internet searching skills
  • Possess knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Demonstrate well-developed, professional interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm

 

And have:

  • Corporate paralegal experience from a Global Law Firm
  • A Law undergraduate degree (or non-law undergraduate degree plus GDL) and the LPC
