About the Role

The Partner Recruiting Assistant is an integral part of Latham’s Partner Recruiting & Integration team. This role will be responsible for providing administrative assistance in support of lateral partner and counsel hiring activity, as directed by their supervisor and other department leadership, as applicable, while scheduling interviews for lateral partner and counsel candidates and collating feedback. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing initial drafts of correspondence for lateral partner and counsel candidates, confirming interview arrangements and other related logistics
  • Booking conference rooms and organizing video links for interviews
  • Liaising with candidates directly and/or with headhunters, along with partners and colleagues in and outside of the department
  • Maintaining candidate databases and trackers, keeping data up to date and accurate while also spotting and correcting any errors
  • Researching new technology and leveraging all available technology solutions to increase efficiency

  • Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills needed to manage time, prioritize, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Display excellent attention to detail
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral

 

And have:

  • A high school diploma or an equivalent
  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent, preferably
  • Administrative or professional office experience
